It is with great pleasure and excitement that we announce that Porsche Kennedy and Rosemary Anderson have taken over the reins of MDT! Porsche and Rosie have a combined 20 years of experience in the industry and they both look forward to many more as they steer MDT to even greater success.

 

Porsche started at MDT shortly after receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2013. Hired as a receptionist, MDT owner, Michelle Mokalla, quickly realized Porsche’s skills were useful elsewhere in the agency. She was elevated to Fit Agent and also served as Michelle’s Executive Assistant. After three years in those positions, Porsche took time away from the agency to explore the corporate world as a Sales Manager at PSAV. Returning to MDT in 2018 as Director of Operations, she has also served as Print Director. MDT has been Porsche's home for the last 10 years and continuing the legacy of a female-led agency is a dream come true! Plus, Porsche is the first Black female agency owner in Northern California!

 

After graduating from San Francisco State University, majoring in Theater Arts, Rosie’s career focus turned toward being an Agent. While in school, she worked in the Casting department at the SF Playhouse and at the same time, served as the head Casting Director for a small, SF-based theatre company. Her experience in those positions cemented her direction into casting and talent development. Rosie joined MDT in 2016 as the On Camera and Voice Over Assistant. After helping those divisions grow for two years, Rosie was promoted to Head Print Agent. After serving in that role, she moved back to O/C and VO as the Lead Director - where she is today…but with the added responsibility of shared ownership of the agency!

 

Both Porsche and Rosie give credit for their success to the collaboration and support of the entire MDT team. Through the years, these colleagues became best friends, and are now excited to be co-Directors of this dynamic agency. They have a shared vision for MDT that includes talent advocacy, strong relationships with clients, and expansion of the services offered by the Agency - including a new Theater and Photographer division, and greater presence in the Los Angeles market.

 

Porsche and Rosie also want to acknowledge and celebrate the wonderful assistants who have supported MDT through this transition! Lexie, Kristin and Jasmin - thank you for your support!
